Terms of Service
Last updated: 15 July 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website and services of Shilp Inspiring Institute ("Shilp", "we", "us", or "our"). By accessing our website, submitting an enquiry, booking a consultation, purchasing a programme, or otherwise using our services, you agree to these Terms.
1. About our services
Shilp Inspiring Institute provides coaching, workshops, trainings, keynotes, and related personal, family, education, and organisational development programmes. Our work is educational and developmental in nature.
Our services are not medical, psychiatric, or clinical psychotherapy services, and they are not a substitute for professional healthcare, crisis intervention, or legal counsel. If you need emergency help, contact local emergency services or an appropriate crisis helpline immediately.
2. Eligibility and account responsibility
You confirm that the information you provide to us is accurate and that you have authority to act on behalf of any organisation, school, or family member for whom you book services.
You are responsible for keeping any booking or access details confidential and for all activity carried out through communications or accounts associated with you.
3. Bookings, programmes, and fees
Programme details, session formats, duration, and fees are described at the time of booking or in a written proposal, invoice, or agreement. Fees must be paid as stated for the relevant programme unless otherwise agreed in writing.
For organisational or school contracts, the written proposal or memorandum of understanding (if any) prevails over conflicting website descriptions to the extent of the conflict.
4. Cancellations and rescheduling
We understand plans change. Unless a specific programme agreement states otherwise:
- Individual sessions should be rescheduled or cancelled with reasonable advance notice (preferably at least 24 hours).
- Late cancellations or no-shows may forfeit the session fee or prepaid credit, at our discretion.
- Workshops, retreats, and group programmes may have separate cancellation windows and refund rules, which will be communicated at registration.
- Shilp may reschedule a session or facilitator for operational reasons and will offer a reasonable alternative where practicable.
5. Client responsibilities and safe participation
You agree to participate respectfully, honestly, and safely. You will not use our services to harass, threaten, discriminate against, or harm others, or to share unlawful content.
For parenting, school, and family work, you remain responsible for decisions concerning minors in your care. Recommendations offered in coaching are guidance tools; outcomes depend on many factors outside our control.
6. Confidentiality
We treat coaching conversations and programme participation with care and confidentiality, subject to legal requirements and safeguarding exceptions (including where there is a risk of serious harm).
Group workshops and community programmes are shared spaces. Participants should respect others’ privacy and not disclose another participant’s personal stories without permission.
7. Intellectual property
All website content, programme materials, frameworks, worksheets, slides, branding, and related intellectual property belong to Shilp Inspiring Institute or its licensors, unless otherwise stated.
You may use materials provided to you for your personal or internal organisational learning as intended for the programme. You may not copy, redistribute, sell, record, or commercially exploit our materials without prior written consent.
8. Website use
You agree not to misuse our website — including attempting unauthorised access, introducing malware, scraping content at scale without permission, or interfering with site operations. We may suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect the site or users.
9. Third-party services
Bookings, payments, messaging, or analytics may involve third-party platforms. Your use of those platforms may be subject to their terms and privacy policies. Shilp is not responsible for third-party outages or practices beyond our reasonable control.
10. Disclaimers
Services and website content are provided on an “as available” basis. While we aim to offer thoughtful, practical support, we do not guarantee specific personal, academic, relational, or business outcomes.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Shilp disclaims warranties not expressly stated in a written agreement with you.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Shilp Inspiring Institute and its founders, facilitators, and team shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the website or services.
Our total liability for any claim relating to a paid programme is limited to the fees you paid to us for that specific programme or engagement, except where liability cannot be limited under applicable law (including for fraud or wilful misconduct).
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Shilp from claims arising out of your misuse of the services, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of applicable law, to the extent permitted by law.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable consumer protections, courts in Gandhinagar / Gujarat shall have jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or our services, unless a written programme contract specifies otherwise.
We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve concerns amicably.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. The “Last updated” date shows the latest version. Continued use of the website or services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, except where additional consent is required by law.
